There is no contact form here — a form would mean a server that stores submissions, and this site deliberately has none. Use email.

What is worth writing about

• A factual mistake. A number that is wrong, a material named incorrectly, a step that would damage the thing. These are the most useful messages and get priority.
• A translation problem. A phrase that reads oddly in French, Spanish or Chinese, or a term that a native speaker would never use.
• A fault worth covering. Something that breaks often in your home and that you could not find a decent guide for. Describe the symptom, not the part.
• A broken link or a page that looks wrong on your device. Please say which device and which language version.

What this address cannot do

• Diagnose your specific machine. A guide narrows a cause; it cannot replace looking at the thing. Please do not send photos asking "what is wrong with this".
• Answer urgent questions. If there is water coming through a ceiling, or a smell of gas, stop reading and deal with it — see the safety notes in the relevant guide.
• Provide a quote or recommend a tradesperson. There is no such service here.

Replies

Messages are read, but replies are not guaranteed and can take a while. Corrections that are confirmed get fixed; the guide changes and the date on the page changes with it.
